I’m getting stale:  haven’t had a new idea or original thought for ages.  Neuroscientist Gregory Burns (iconoclast: a neuroscientist reveals how to think differently) writes about the two key inhibitors of novel thinking- familarity and fear.  So I’m setting myself a challenge for the month of February.  Every day, I will do something unfamiliar;  break out of routines; challenge my own fear factors; go new places,  try new things.  The results will be posted here or on Twitter (francinecampone).  Follow along or, even better, join in by adding your own comments and blah-breakers.  Today’s new territory- admitting in public that I’m getting stale!
