This on-line professional development program is designed to help both experienced and new coaches incorporate an evidence-based approach to their coaching practice. Evidence Based Coaching brings theory and research from a variety of disciplines, including psychology, communication, and organizational studies, together with current techniques and strategies in coaching.
Through on-line discussion of readings and teleconference training calls, participants to produce coaching results based on research and evidence in the field. The training is offered through Fielding Graduate University, a fully-accredited university. Participants receive supervision from academically qualified coaching practitioners and can choose to apply the credits from the 12-week program toward a year-long coaching certificate program. The 12-week Evidence-Based Coaching Program provides coaching practitioners with 40 continuing education credits for acquiring or maintaining ICF certification.
